2nd Drum Painting

Working on my 2nd drum painting. Started off with Merkaba (Star of David in 3D form)
Pic 1: Use RGB colors for the inner triangle and like it.
Pic 2: Moved on to the step 2 and I felt that I messed up.
Pic 3: next morning, I tried to wash off the part I didn’t like, but too late.
Pic 4: Kept going forward and I am surprised the turn out that I actually like it so far…

Not complete yet, but wanted to share first.

The progress of this drum painting project makes me realize and learn that “In life, often we would face worse before we get better!” Just like what I share the progression above. SO NEVER GIVE UP UNTIL THE FINISHED LINE!

My 1st Painted Drum - "Sound of Flower of Life" in honor of Ray

It took several weeks to complete my 2nd drum painting and the process was a great lesson for me to realize "Slow Down" my pace and to practice my patience. From that, I also learned to de-pressure myself. I noticed that often time, I started some project and wanted to rush it through, so I created too much pressure to myself and also missed the enjoyment of project progression. Now, I slow down and pay attention to my inner voice more on a daily basis. I experience the flow of energy is calmer and smoother.

When I give "draw your flower of life" lesson, I always encourage to photo the progress along the way. The reason is to be able to see the change and transition throughout your entire drawing. Here is my example:
